I founded The Spanish Hub to bridge the gap between classroom learning and true linguistic mastery. My mission is to provide high-achieving students with the specialized, holistic support they need to navigate the rigors of advanced Spanish with confidence.
2. Academic Leadership and Tenure
With a Ph.D. in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Michigan, my approach is rooted in academic excellence. For over 26 years,
I have served as a full-time faculty member and Head of the Spanish Program at a premier independent school in the Boston area.
During my tenure, I have not only mentored hundreds of students through the Honors and AP tracks but also developed and led international exchange programs in Madrid, designed original curricula from the ground up, and remained at the forefront of modern pedagogical research.

As a native speaker from Spain with deep family roots in Puerto Rico, I offer my students a rich, multi-dimensional view of the Spanish-speaking world. Full payment of $250 is required a minimum of 48 hours in advance of your desired session start time. Your session cannot be confirmed until this payment is received.
Late Cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) will be charged at the full $250 rate. No refund or credit will be issued.

Mesa Redonda: The Fluency Seminar

For: Small groups (max 4) of peers looking to bridge the gap between "knowing grammar" and "speaking with ease" in a low-stakes, high-engagement setting.
Eligibility: participants should be currently enrolled in Level III Honors or above. Groups are curated by proficiency level to ensure a cohesive seminar experience.
Your monthly payment of $400 x 4 is due on the 1st of each month, or on the enrollment date for your initial payment, and recurs monthly thereafter.
Group Sessions: The 4 group sessions per month are scheduled monthly and are intended for consistent attendance within the month.
No refunds or credit for sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or for no-shows. The session will be considered used and will be deducted from your package total.

Other Key Policies
Full payment for a single session, or the first month's payment for any monthly subscription package, is required a minimum of 48 hours in advance of your desired session start time.
No refunds are issued for unused sessions within an active monthly package.
No Rollover: Unused sessions from any monthly package (1:1 or Group) do not roll over to subsequent months and will expire at the end of the billing cycle.
You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. Your access to sessions will continue until the end of your current paid monthly billing cycle.
Integrity Policy:To maintain the highest standards of academic transparency, my private consulting services are dedicated to students outside of my current school community.
